The 2021 high school volleyball season begins Monday, August 2. All girls entering grades 9-12 who will be playing volleyball need to report to the high school gym at 8:30 AM. Practices will be from 9AM-12PM and then again from 3PM-5PM. We will follow that schedule week 1.
2021-22 10th, 11th, and 12th graders- If you have not turned in your Personal Graduation Plans, please drop them of by the high school office before June 28th so we can make those schedule changes. For more information please contact the high school office at 512-455-9333.

Good evening Milano ISD parents and guardians, On Thursday, May 13th, the Milano ISD School Board of Trustees voted to terminate the Ready to Learn plan effective Thursday, May 27th at 4pm. Milano ISD and its respective campuses will no longer require face masks nor social distancing in the remaining school evening events after Thursday, May 27th at 4pm. Face masks and hand sanitizer stations will still be available for anyone to use at their regard if attending the 8th Grade Junior High Promotion Ceremony on Thursday, May 27th or the Milano High School Graduation on Friday, May 28th. The 8th Grade Junior High Promotion Ceremony will be open to the public and will not use a ticket system for attendance. The Milano High School Graduation will still enforce the 15 ticket system. In clarification, Milano ISD will continue to wear masks, social distance, and will remain closed campuses with no outside visitors for the remainder of the year until Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 4pm. Milano ISD is on a normal bell schedule for Monday, February 22nd. We are currently under a boil water notice so we ask that you send your child with bottled water if you have any available. We have some bottled water as well as we will be boiling water daily until the boil water notice is lifted. Milano ISD Family, As you are aware, our area is experiencing inclement weather and is expected to have an increase in severe weather conditions over the next few days. Milano ISD's top priority is the safety of our students, parents, staff, and community members. As a result, MISD will remain in remote instruction for all students on Tuesday February 16th and Wednesday February 17th. The district will continue to monitor the weather conditions to determine if additional remote instruction days are necessary. Dear Parents and Guardians, Due to the inclement weather school will be asynchronous, tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 12. We will be closely monitoring the weather throughout the weekend as well as Mon. Feb. 15, which is a school holiday. A determination as to how school will be operated next week will be made on Monday, Feb. 15. Notifications will be sent out via Remind, All Calls and other social media platforms and our website. Buses will run at normal times this afternoon. if you indicated on the home internet survey that you needed a hot spot, one will be sent home with your student today. Elementary students will have ipads and chargers sent home with them as well. Attendance will be taken and instruction will continue online via the ipads during this asynchronous or at home instruction.

Girls and boys varsity basketball teams will play Hearne in Milano tomorrow, Tuesday, January 12. The first game will start at 6:00 PM. There will be JV games played.
JH BOYS basketball games for Monday, January 11 have been rescheduled. The games will be played Thursday, January 14th in Milano at 5:00 PM. The opponent is Thorndale.
Due to the inclement weather Milano ISD will not be having school on Monday January 11th. School will resume on Tuesday. Be safe and stay warm.
Seniors, When you come up on Monday we are going to have you list your guests before you are given your tickets for graduation. If you have no idea who you plan to invite, think about it this weekend. You cannot get your tickets without listing the first and last name of your guests.
