Milam County has partnered with Milano Junior High and High School to discuss the important topic of sexting. Chief Deputy Chris White and Principal Tracy Brewer met with students in an assembly to discuss the problematic trend of students sexting. Chief Deputy White explained the legal consequences of participating in sexting, along with appropriate responses if a student finds themselves involved with this situation. Students learned the importance of reporting such images along with the importance of not forwarding or perpetuating such images from being exposed. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact the school or Milam County Sheriff's department.
